We offer process groups and skills groups at the Chesnut Group.
Process Groups provide a safe environment for clients to share experiences with one another, as well as to give support and feedback to other group participants. Through this process, clients learn more about themselves, connect with others, and recognize of the universality of the human condition.
Skills groups teach clients behaviors and strategies to support their mental health. These groups typically offer skill sets and philosophy based on a specific theory such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, or Cognitive Behavior Therapy.
