Courtney Beitler, LCSW

Courtney Beitler treats individuals and families of all ages and specializes in the treatment of depression, self esteem, relationship issues, adolescents, and parenting issues. She works with clients from a holistic approach to therapy through the exploration of psychological, emotional, spiritual and relational aspects of life. Her integrative counseling approach also utilizes a strengths-based perspective grounded in both psychodynamic and Emotion Focused Family (EFFT) theories. In Courtney’s free time, she enjoys hiking, camping, being outdoors and joining her family on the couch to watch a TV show at the end of a good day.

Professional Experience

Prior to joining The Chesnut Group, Courtney worked as a clinical social worker for 7 years at Deaconess Cross Pointe, a psychiatric hospital in Indiana. There, she provided therapeutic support to adolescents and their families, as well as adults with co-occurring disorders and their families. While many of Courtney’s clients share similar “diagnoses or issues,” she views each of the clients who walk through her door as a fully distinct human being with different motivators and drivers in their lives. Courtney has worked with people from virtually all walks of life, and considers it a privilege to be able to do her job.
