While we are in network with many insurance companies, services not provided or covered by insurance will be billed to the client. The Chesnut Group will do its best to verify benefits before the first appointment and let the client know if they are responsible for the deductible, have a copay, or have coinsurance. If the cost to the member changes after the claim is processed, the client is responsible for the charges insurance doesn’t cover.
You can also contact and ask the following recommended questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:
- Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
- Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it, and have I met it yet?
- Do I have a copay or coinsurance?
- Does my plan limit the number of sessions I can have per calendar year? If so, what is the limit?
- Do I need written approval from my primary care physician for services to be covered?
Payment
We accept cash, checks and all major credit cards as forms of payment. Payments are due on the day of services or when insurance claims are processed.
Cancellation Policy
If you cannot attend a session, please cancel at least 48 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged for the total rate of the session.
